Geocell

Geocell is widely used in retaining walls and slope protection applications due to its three-dimensional cellular confinement system that improves soil stability and load distribution. In retaining wall structures, geocell confines infill material within its interconnected cells, creating a reinforced mass that enhances structural strength, reduces lateral earth pressure, and improves overall wall stability. In slope protection works, geocell stabilizes surface soils by preventing erosion, controlling soil movement, and increasing resistance to sliding, even on steep gradients. By providing effective confinement and reinforcement, geocell systems offer a durable, cost-effective, and long-term solution for soil stabilization and erosion control.

Slope Protection

Load Distribution

  • Confines infill material within cellular structure

  • Spreads applied loads evenly across the surface

  • Reduces surface deformation and rutting

  • Enhances performance of roads, embankments, and working platforms

Erosion Control

  • Protects slopes, channels, and embankments from runoff

  • Reduces soil loss caused by water and wind erosion

  • Maintains slope integrity and surface coverage

  • Supports vegetation growth for long-term natural stabilization

Soil Stabilization

  • Increases bearing capacity of weak soils

  • Controls lateral movement of soil and infill

  • Reinforces slopes, embankments, and retaining walls

  • Improves overall structural stability and durability
